Ingredients
- 1 (One) 10oz bag GHIRARDELLI White Vanilla Flavored Melting Wafers
- 1/2 cup GHIRARDELLI Dark Chocolate Flavored Melting Wafers
- Large shortbread cookies
- Small shortbread cookies
- Sanding sugar
- Green food coloring (oil based)
- Green, red, and gold sprinkles
Directions
- Place the wafers into a microwave safe bowl and heat for 30 second intervals until fully melted.
- Dip each of the large shortbread cookies into the melted vanilla wafers, then transfer to parchment paper. Before the coating has set, sprinkle each cookie with sanding sugar to create a snowy look. Place into the fridge to set.
- Set aside a few spoonfuls of the melted vanilla coating. Tint the rest with a few drops of green food coloring and stir to combine. Transfer to a piping bag.
- Melt the Dark Chocolate Flavored Wafers the same way and transfer to a piping bag.
- Pipe a green zigzag triangle onto each cookie to create the tree. Add a small trunk using the melted Chocolate Flavored Wafers.
- Add a small amount of the leftover Vanilla Flavored Melts on top of each smaller shortbread cookie, then attach the decorated cookies to the smaller ones to act as the base of the snowglobe.
- Store in an airtight container until ready to eat.
