Frozen Apple Cider with Cinnamon Whipped Cream

Overnight-steeped chai meets crisp apple cider in a frosty blend, crowned with cinnamon whipped cream.

Ingredients

  • FROZEN APPLE CIDER INGREDIENTS
  • 6 fl oz Chai apple cider
  • ½ cup Ghirardelli Classic White Frappe Mix
  • 12 oz cup (200 g) Ice
  • CHAI APPLE CIDER INGREDIENTS
  • 30 g Loose leaf chai tea
  • 1 quart Apple cider or juice
  • CINNAMON WHIPPED CREAM INGREDIENTS
  • 16 fl oz (1 pint) Heavy cream
  • 6 g Ground cinnamon
  • 6 pumps (3 fl oz) Ghirardelli Vanilla Sauce

Directions

  • Combine chai tea and apple cider, stir and allow to steep for at least 8 hours or overnight.
  • Strain out tea and refrigerate until needed.
  • Blend chai apple cider, Ghirardelli Classic White Frappe Mix, and ice until smooth.
  • Whip Ghirardelli Sea Salt Vanilla Sauce, cinnamon, and heavy whipping cream until soft peaks form, or alternatively, combine and add to a whipping siphon, charge, and hold refrigerated for use.
  • Top with cinnamon whipped cream and garnish with a light dusting of ground cinnamon.
