Adaptogenic Mayan Hot Cocoa

Blending this mix of cinnamon, nutmeg, cayenne, and clove with Ghirardelli Premium Hot Cocoa creates a subtle spiciness and adds warmth to an already delicious hot beverage.

Ingredients

  • 7 fl. oz. hot water
  • 3 Tbsp Ghirardelli Premium Hot Cocoa
  • 1 tsp Ashwagandha Powder
  • 4 Tbsp Ground Cinnamon
  • 1 Tbsp Ground Nutmeg
  • 1 1/2 tsp Ground Cayenne
  • 1 1/2 tsp Ground Clove

Directions

  • MAKE SPICE BLEND: In a small bowl, combine cinnamon, nutmeg, cayenne, and clove. Stir until blended.
  • MKAE HOT COCOA: In a mug, combine Ghirardelli Premium Hot Cocoa Powder, ashwagandha powder, and 1/2 tsp of Spice Blend. Mix well.
  • Slowly pour hot water to powder blend and still until disolved. Serve warm.
