Ghirardelli “Flavor Flight” Sweepstakes
Official Rules

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY.  

A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.  

By participating in the Ghirardelli Flavor Flight Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”), you acknowledge that you have read and agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Ghirardelli Chocolate Company (“Ghirardelli”) (“Sponsor”) and that you satisfy all eligibility requirements.  

ELIGIBILITY: The Sweepstakes is open only to those who are attending the 2026 World of Coffee trade show in San Diego (the “Trade Show”) and are 18 years of age or older as of the date of entry and shall be governed solely by U.S. law.  Void where prohibited. The following individuals are not eligible to participate in the Sweepstakes: (a) employees, officers, directors, or members of the Sponsor and its parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, fulfillment, and marketing agencies; and (b) members of their immediate families or persons living in the same household. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. By participating, you agree to be bound by the terms of these Official Rules and by the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding on all matters. 

HOW TO ENTER: Method of Entry: During the Entry Period: (i) Sample, if you are able, at least one of the specialty coffee beverage samples at the Ghirardelli booth #1105 (the “Booth”) at the Trade Show; (ii) Complete the contact information on the “Global Recipe Flight Ticket” which can be requested at the Booth or distributed via Roast Magazine and Barista Magazine April issues; (iii) Place completed card into the entry bin located at the Booth ; and (iv) be physically present at the Booth #1105 at 3:30 PM Pacific Time on the day you enter when a winner is drawn. There will be one drawing for entries received on April 10 and a separate drawing for entries received on April 11.  Entries in the April 10 drawing do not carry over to the April 11 drawing.  One entry per person per day allowed. 

Entries become the property of Sponsor upon receipt and will not be acknowledged or returned. Sweepstakes parties are not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, corrupted, or incomplete entries. Proof of submission is not proof of receipt by Sponsor.  Entries generated by a script, computer programs, macro, programmed, robotic, or other automated means are void and may be disqualified. Entries submitted by entrants who do not meet the eligibility requirements (including all requirements with respect to age,  residence and being present at the prize drawing) are void.  Those who do not follow all of the instructions, provide the required information in their entry form, or abide by these Official Rules or other instructions of Sponsor may be disqualified

ENTRY PERIOD: The first sweepstakes begins at 10:00 AM Pacific Standard Time on Friday, April 10, 2026, and ends 3:30 PM Pacific Standard Time on Friday, April 10, 2026. The second sweepstakes begins at 10:00 AM Pacific Standard Time on Saturday, April 11, 2026, and ends 3:30 PM Pacific Standard Time on Saturday, April 11, 2026

PRIZES AND APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUE: The one (1) winner on Friday will receive one (1) Away “The Carry-On” luggage bag; plus one (1) five-pound bag of Ghirardelli Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips; one (1) 3-lb can of Ghirardelli Chocolate and Cocoa Sweet Ground Powder; one (1) 16 oz. squeeze bottle Ghirardelli Chocolate Sauce. Total approx. retail value of prize is $350. The one (1) winner on Saturday will receive one (1) set of Beats by Dre Wireless Noise Canceling Headphones; plus one (1) five-pound bag of Ghirardelli Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips; one (1) 3-lb can of Ghirardelli Chocolate and Cocoa Sweet Ground Powder; one (1) 16 oz. squeeze bottle Ghirardelli Chocolate Sauce. Total approx. retail value of prize is $350. All taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner, and all other expenses not specified herein are the responsibility of the winner. Prizes or any portion thereof are not transferable except at Sponsor’s sole discretion.  

WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION: The prize winner will be determined by a random drawing from all eligible entries received by the end of the daily Entry Period at the Booth. The random drawing shall be conducted by Sponsor, whose decisions are final with respect to all aspects of the Sweepstakes. One (1) random eligible winner will be notified in person on Friday and Saturday by 3:30 PM PT. The winner must be present to win, or they forfeit the prize, and another random winner will be selected. Winner may be required to complete, sign, and return an affidavit of eligibility and release form within seven (7) business days of receipt of prize notification, or the prize may be forfeited. If prize notification is returned as undeliverable or the winner fails to return the affidavit and release as specified, the winner will be disqualified, and the award will be forfeited. 

ODDS OF WINNING ARE BASED ON THE NUMBER OF ENTRIES RECEIVED IN EACH DRAWING. All taxes and any expenses not specified herein are the sole responsibility of the winner. No prize substitution, cash substitution, or assignment or transfer of prize is permitted, except by Sponsor for reason of unavailability in which a prize of equal or greater value will be awarded. The potential winner must meet all eligibility requirements set forth in these Official Rules to qualify for a prize. 

RIGHTS GRANTED: By participating, each entrant agrees to allow the use of his/her name, voice, performance, photograph/video, recipe, image and/or likeness for editorial, administrative, programming, advertising, publicity and promotional purposes in any and all media, now or hereafter known, worldwide and on the Internet, and in perpetuity by Sponsors and participating partners of Sponsors, without compensation (unless prohibited by law) or additional consents from entrant or any third party and without prior notice, approval or inspection, and to execute specific consent to such use if asked to do so. 

RELEASE OF LIABILITY. Entrants agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor and its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers and directors from any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, claim or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from (i) such entrant's participation in the Sweepstakes and/or his/her acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize or any portion thereof, (ii) technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to the malfunctioning of any computer, cable, network, hardware or software; (iii) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any transmissions or telephone or Internet service; (iv) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Sweepstakes; (v) electronic or human error which may occur in the administration of the Sweepstakes or the processing of entries.

GOVERNING LAW: All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforce ability of these Official Rules or the rights and obligations of participants or Sponsors in connection with the Sweepstakes shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the internal laws of the state of California without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions that would cause the application of any other state laws. Claims may not be resolved through any form of class action. Venue for all suits will be in federal or state courts located in County of San Francisco, California.

NO WAIVER: The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Official Rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. In the event that any provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, these Official Rules shall otherwise remain in effect and be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or illegal provision were not contained herein.  In the event there is a discrepancy or inconsistency between disclosures or other statements contained in any Sweepstakes-related materials, privacy policy or terms of use on the Website and/or the terms and conditions of the Official Rules, the Official Rules shall prevail, govern and control and the discrepancy will be resolved in Sponsor’s sole and absolute discretion.

PRIVACY POLICY:  Information collected by Sponsor in connection with this Sweepstakes may be used by Sponsor in accordance with the online Privacy Policy posted at https://www.ghirardelli.com/privacy-policy#r4kCHuAfMOy2LIDs.97.  The entrant agrees to the collection, processing, and storage of his/her personal data by Sponsor and/or Administrator for the purposes of the Sweepstakes.

WINNERS LIST: A copy of the winner’s name and city/state may be obtained by sending a written request to: Ghirardelli Chocolate Company, ATTN: Flavor Flight Sweepstakes, 1111 139th Avenue, San Leandro, CA 94578 postmarked by April 11, 2026, and received by April 20, 2026.
